Train of Death in Gaza

Hospitals in the Gaza Strip are suffering a great deal shortage of medical instruments, disposables, and delicate tools for serious surgeries. This shortages force hospitals to transfer critical cases outside the Gaza Strip for an immediate treatment; however patients are prevented by Israel to leave Gaza as a result of Gaza siege.
Beofre June 2007, hospitals used to carry out staid surgery as tools and medical equipments were available, yet in the time being nothing is available, no more serious surgeries are taken place in Gaza hospitals due to inhuman siege.
There is lack of ticklish disposables such as "Anesthetic" banned them doing any critical operation. One of examples, is Bassam Harara 35 year's old who wake up conscious during his kidney medical surgery asanesthetic run out. Bassam died a week later of the operation as a result in October 2007. Moreover, several "Cancer Cases" have passed a way as preventing them leaving to get urgent and necessarily treatments. 300 cases are waiting death too for same reasons. Since Jun 2007 About 67 Palestinians have died as a result of.
According to MoH reports that about 300 – 400 cases used to be transferred monthly to get treatment outside of Gaza, while last September about 100 cases only, and much less number in Nov.
In cardiology unit at Al Shefa hospital in Gaza City, Mr. Ali Ahel suffers a critical arteriosclerosis in the heart, blood pressure, and diabetes that might cause to his death any moment in case he did not get out of Gaza immediately to go for an open heart surgery. He is still waiting which put his life in danger. Now, he has been waiting since two months and he been banned but he is still waiting permission to leave either from Gaza or to leave life.
Mr. Ahel is 57 years old from Gaza city, has a family of eight members, and he is the only breadwinner for his children as he was working as a tailor in Gaza.
Doctors at AlShefa hospital said that he is in a very critical conditions and requires immediate surgery0 out side of Gaza other wise his chances of survive are very little
"We can not do anything for his conditions as he requires valve of the heart, and widening the heart artery. This paitent might pass away in the hospital any moment and we are completely disabled to help him." Said Dr. Nasser Al Tatter is the Head of Cardiology Unit in Al Shefa Medical Compound, describing the medical case of Ali Ahel.
Besides to Ali's deadly medical conditions he is also a handicapped person, though he has been denied of leaving Gaza.
"My family has applied to times to the Israeli side in order to let me get my life surgery out side of Gaza but I have been denied twice. Just I can not understand the fact I am denied from leaving Gaza… what a handicapped with all this fatal diseases could do "Ali Ahel Mentioned.
"I am waiting death now however, I am faithful enough of Allah to wait of death if its my fate. For me I am a father o 10 children, the youngest is 6 years old, they all requires a real care, no one of my children is working, even the oldest... I don't know what they will do after my death… Only Allah will be beside them". He said with teary eyes.
Still there is hope carried by Ali Ahel as he applied for permission and expecting an answer in 5th of December wishing the answer this time will positive.
"I appeal all people all over the world to at my case and Palestinians and try to help me; I can not stand pains anymore." He added.

Gazans Message:
Due to the Ministry of Health figures about 400-450 patients suffer from severe shortage in cardiology drugs. The breaking down of some therapeutic and diagnostic equipment in cardiology departments has worsened the situation.
Other needed and urgent requirements for hospitals are; Hem-dialysis machines, Diesel and natural Gas, Cleaning detergents, Foods for patients, Cloth and dressings, Medical Gases, and many other machines and instruments related the Cardiology Units.
As the tragic situation in Gaza, Ministry of Health appeal to the International Community to take an immediate action to put an end to this catastrophe which threatens the health sector to collapse, as reported at MoH minimum appeal to the humanitarian organization at their website.

Annapolis Illusion

What Gazans expect to earn from Annapolis?
I believe that Mr. Mahmoud Abbas is counting a lot on Annapolis mistakenly think that Israel will offer right of returns, Jerusalem, and Palestinian state. These are the Palestinians dreams behind Annapolis, which will be a nightmare as soon as the conference start as he will get nothing but illusion.
Annapolis is conducted only for the American and Israeli as they trying to get as much as they could from Palestinians National stables, with out giving Palestinians anything.
America and Israel have chosen this time in holding such conference as they discerned the great gap in between Palestinian brothers, Hamas and Fatah, thinking they will exile Hamas from their political grubby game, in the other hand they will use internal conflict as a weak point against Abbas to put more pressure at him to give up what Arafat has refused to give. The idea is very clear for political sightless people that America and Israel have prepared Annapolis final memorandum before even it started.
America and Israel are interested in ending-up the political instability in the region and Middle East in the time of planning war in Iran. They don't want Palestinians to be thorn at their way to dustract the world attentions, move important; to gain trust from the Arab world to use their lands for military bases incase they decided to go to war.
A person such Abbas has nothing in the hand but crying for international community thorugh the Americans to make more pressure on Israel in order to get crumbs of the banquet.
I walk in Gaza Street and I see no one is willing to talk about Annapolis because at the end Annapolis will have the same destination as the Road-map agreement. Peace talks won't be implemented in Palestine since the US and Israel are not serious in living side by side with Palestinians. Abbas mush not close his eyes infront of his own people well, before he starts talks with Israel he must talk with Hamas, his own people,specially in the time of unmerciful blockage leaving Gazans in jail.

I want to say to Abbas that Annapolis is nothing but illusion.

Lost Dream in Gaza

Israel has killed the meaning of life and ambitions inside me. I was and still looking for a chance to find a better life and future for my family ans self.
I am one of one and half million inhabitants are living in less than 3060 Kilo Miter Square; unfortunately we have no chance in life or hope left, the thanks to Israel.
Gazans have no terminals to move in or out Gaza, but why that??? Gazans have'nt food supplies, gas, fuel, medical equipments and many other basics needed for any human being to exist…. Why is that?
Dozens of Gazans have died as medical shortage and closure, due to Israeli closuer, preventing gaza patients from leaving Gaza for urgent treatments.
Why do you kill everything charming and sweet in my Gaza? Why you make Gaza as a big jail where animals refuse to live in. Poverty, un-employment, and high living cost have dramatically increased too, as citizens inable to stand this. Israel stopped thousands of workers to work inside Israel, those jobless with no income.
The concept of life willingness been killed by Israel. Sometimes, I look about the positive side in Gaza, sadly barly find somthing but nothing. I Look again and again closley to find a reason behind siege I realize there is no reason but Israel. How can we love Israel and live together next door with each other.
Killing to them is driving a tank and shot some one, or flying with military f16. They kill us physical and psychologically.
The question here, how and where can I build up a better future for my family?, how can I learn from others experiences to teach my people in Gaza, in the time I can not have chance to get out. What I know that Israel has killed every thing remarkable that I could enjoy or any Gazans could, killed our future that every youth all over the world is dreaming to accomplish. The question is WHY?

Farewell Marwan and See you Soon

Two days ago and during Arafat's memorial rally about 200.000 Palestinians have participated in huge desmonstration in Gaza City, at the first hour it was peacful and calm, people were chanting against Israeli and Hamas. Suddenly, things have changes up-side-down when un-known person opened fire, killed one of Hamas policeman, pushed Hamas to open fire. About 8 people were killed and 100 others injured 5 others seriously as a result of serious clashes between Hamas excutive force and rally participants.
One of those who got killed is my neighbor Merwan Al Nouno 21 years old, lives next door and he is the bone friend of my youngest brother. Merwan was in the rally for the memorial of Arafat. He got shot right in the head, left him in critical conditions and today he passed away. It was very shocking news to me and to all of my family.
His father and mother went crazy crying and weeping their dead son. But the question is why he got killed? who killed him? Who should be responsible for such painful crime? No answer. Merwan was like a colorful flower got picked before the right time. I feel so sad for this young man, as he abandoned us in unmerciful conditions we are living in Gaza. I am telling Merwan you don't have to worry about anything anymore because you are dead now, and remember that we are not much different, we are the same of you, dead exactly as you, because Gaza has no borders, food supplies, security, medicine, or even life.
Tell me, whats the different?

I am not Fatah or Hamas, I am a Palestinian

Since Hamas takeover the Gaza Strip, Fatah strarts to play the role of victim in the West Bank leaving Gaza and West Banks as two seperated parts. This increased the fighting between Palestinian brothers. I really do not trust any of them any more. The only victim in such internal crisis are normal Palestinians citizens who have no left to stand next to them but Allah.
So sad to see Palestinians fighting for something they do not control which power and government. Power have blind their eyes and def their ears.
What am saying her that the world should interact with Palestinians to help, not to increase the problem as the American Government is support Abu Mazen party gainst Hamas to deepen the problem instead of solving it.
